Ozone is an activated form of oxygen that penetrates the fabric, carpet, and HVAC where odor lives and oxidizes the molecules causing it. We run it through the system with the cabin sealed, then air it out — the smell is gone, not masked. It's the difference between a clean car and one that smells clean.
